Insurance Coverage and Defense / Professional Liability Defense
BNS is actively engaged in the area of professional liability defense of many professions and trades including real estate and insurance agents, brokers, and inspectors; real property management firms; home builders, contractors, and sub-contractors; retail and commercial creditors and lenders; debt buyers, third-party debt collectors and attorneys. The firm handles these types of cases directly or through liability insurance carriers and third party administrators.
In addition to handling these cases in courtrooms throughout Texas, one of the firm's partners serves as regional panel counsel for one of its insurance carriers. In that capacity, the firm oversees pending litigation matters in the professional liability area for a region covering several states. In addition to finalizing disputes through traditional litigation methods, the firm has resolved numerous litigation matters through binding arbitration or other alternative dispute resolution procedures.
